Parental Rights/ School District Rights

Over the last several years we have seen the erosion of parental rights in our schools. Our state has been paramount in helping to produce policy that removes parents as the primary support of their children.  Replacing parents and families with school administration, teachers, and healthcare workers is unacceptable. Families are central to the growth and development of all children. Our schools should never stand between students and their parents in any capacity. We need a School Board that values parental rights and focuses on preserving those rights. We need a School Board that stands up to state over-reach. 

As a member of the Central Valley School Board I will fight for parental rights, and  I will advocate for curriculum and policy that reflects the values of families in our community.
